Under The Moon
Elaine Timmer
I'm a lover of creating cute creatures to hang out with and imagining magical worlds to wander
in, which are infused with colour and dreaminess.
I am a creative print designer / illustrator currently living on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. I have a love of vintage fabrics, watercolour paints, expressive drawings and vibrant patterns. Originally from the U.K. I studied textiles at the Glasgow School of Art, specialising in print for fashion. After graduating in 2000, I freelanced for various textile studios in London and on personal projects. I worked as a print designer for Divided Red, H&M from 2003 - 2007 and then Cotton Underwear & Nightwear from 2011 - 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden. We moved back to Sydney in 2015 and I worked at various health food stores and with with my mentors at Harbord Homeopathic Clinic. I worked on reception, gave homeopathic consults, dispensed remedies and facilitated home remedy kit talks. I also illustrated watercolour paintings for 'The Golden Book', published by the clinic's charity The Aurum Project - raising funds for homeopathic research in Australia. Since 2020 I work via my online clinic ‘Pepper & Spoon’ consulting clients around the world and as part of the ‘Homeopathy 247’ team. During this time I have been creating watercolour illustrations for my own brand ‘Somewhere Under the Moon’ - a world of curious creatures. My ideal is to combine my love of creative expression, with healing and a healthy lifestyle. I illustrate for my health blogs @pepperandspoon to share information about natural remedies and inspire others. I like to keep a balance of creating imaginative designs and helping others with their health.
